  • When are the group therapy sessions? What are your office hours?
    We have groups in the morning, mid-day, and evening all week long. We offer groups so often because our goal is to make treatment readily available for everyone, regardless of their schedule. Our administrative office hours are from 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday. You can find more information on our schedule page.
  • I recently got a DUI / possession charge. How can Life Recovery Center help?
    We can assist you in a variety of ways. In addition to helping you learn the necessary skills to get and remain clean and sober, with your permission we can also provide progress reports to your attorney, probation officer, case manager, or others involved in your case to advocate on your behalf and verify that you are taking initiative to address the problem. Our programs are utilized as a referral source by Marion County Probation, Greenwood City Probation, Johnson County Probation, Hancock County Probation, Hamilton County Probation, Greenwood City Recovery Court, the Indiana State Nurses Assistance Program (ISNAP), the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration (FSSA), the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS), Child Protective Services (CPS), the Indiana Problem Gambling Awareness Program (IPGAP), the Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program (JLAP), the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS), Electronic Monitoring Services, the Department of Transportation (DOT), physicians, hospitals and inpatient treatment facilities, attorneys, judges, churches, employers, employee assistance professionals, and many more! If you are being referred, we are likely already familiar with many of the entities and/or individuals involved in your case, making it easier for us to communicate with them and advocate on your behalf. Our goal is to provide accurate information about your progress in a timely fashion.
  • What do I need to bring with me to my initial appointment?
    Please bring the following to your initial appointment: Photo I.D. Initial assessment fee Referral paperwork (if applicable) Legal paperwork (if applicable)
  • Are your staff members in recovery?
    Yes. Many of our staff members are themselves in recovery.

  • I'm interested in doing individual sessions instead of groups. Can I do that?
    Absolutely. Simply call us at 317.887.3290 x0 and speak to one of our specialists to schedule an initial appointment. We are able to accept insurance as a form of payment for individual counseling sessions.
  • What insurance plans do you accept?
    We have therapists that are in network with: Medicaid/HIP Anthem Aetna Sagamore Cigna United Behavioral Health SIHO Even if your provider is not on this list, most insurance companies offer some level of reimbursement for our services. If you'll give us a call, we are more than happy to give you the necessary information to give your insurance provider to find out about your reimbursement options. Many individuals find that our rates are just as cheap or cheaper than their insurance co-pay and opt not to use their insurance.   • Will people know I'm in treatment?
    ABSOLUTELY NOT. Our services are completely confidential. We do not release ANY information about you without your written consent to do so. Our goal is always to protect your right to privacy and your confidentiality.
  • What program or service is right for me?
    This question will be answered at the completion of the initial assessment. Life Recovery Center offers several types of outpatient treatment. If there is no treatment that is appropriate for your particular situation offered at Life Recovery Center, the therapist will make a referral to an an agency that offers that service. Sometimes treatment is not necessary.
  • Do you offer detox or inpatient services?
    No. Life Recovery Center provides outpatient services only. We do not offer detoxification or inpatient services.
  • What if I don't have health insurance?
    If you are uninsured, this is NOT a problem. We offer treatment services at rates that are affordable. When possible, Life Recovery Center will offer individuals treatment scholarships to help finance the cost of their treatment. There are also several funding assistance programs for individuals who qualify. We will determine your eligibility for financial help at your initial appointment.
  • How much will it cost?
    That depends on the service you're receiving, but we can assure you that our rates are affordable. Our goal has always been to make treatment services accessible to all individuals, regardless of their financial situation. We offer a variety of financial assistance options, meeting our clients with rates that they can reasonably afford based on their family size and income. Special funding assistance is available for individuals who qualify through various programs. We will determine your eligibility for this financial help at your initial appointment.   • Do you treat children or adolescents?
    No. We only treat adults aged 18 and older.
  • Do you offer medication-assisted treatment or opioid replacement therapy?
    We provide the psychotherapy and counseling services for individuals receiving medication assisted treatment, but are being prescribed the medication from an outside physician. Life Recovery Center does not prescribe or dispense any medications.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    Yes. We we are a Medicaid/HIP provider and accept health insurance for a number of our services. If you want to use insurance to pay for your treatment at LRC, please call prior to your initial appointment to give us your insurance information. We will investigate your benefits to confirm that your insurance plan will pay for your treatment.   • How do I enroll in services?
    Simply call us at 317.887.3290 x0 and speak with one of our intake specialists to schedule an appointment for a initial assessment. During the assessment, you will meet with a therapist to discuss your particular situation. Based on the information gathered at that time, an appropriate level of treatment, if any, will be recommended.
